A performance involving participatory outreach activities prior to the presentation
The Story of Plume
La Cabane à Plume(s) is a performance that invites the inhabitants of a territory to prepare themselves to become part of its story. To do so, we have imagined tailor-made outreach modules including construction workshops, singing, dance, theatre…
We can lead these modules ourselves and/or train local participants to facilitate them in our place. Tutorials are also available so that everyone can prepare at home.
“My cabin is my refuge, my banner, my shelter of chance, my observatory. My cabin is my own world.”
Plume is a young girl of about ten years old, and her world is under threat. The birds have fallen silent; they have suddenly disappeared, heralding disaster.
Plume calls upon us to join her struggle, to seek the humanity that connects us to one another, in order to try to save her cabin and bring the birds back.
But the countdown has already begun.
